This rod is my favourite rod for jetty fishing for squid
very happy with rod
I've been using the Inku Egi Rod 8'3" for land based squidding and couldn't be happier with it. The extra length makes a huge difference when fishing from jetties, rocks, and shorelines, giving excellent casting distance and allowing me to cover much more water.
The rod feels incredibly lightweight and well balanced, yet still has plenty of power in the butt section to control larger squid. The sensitivity is excellent, making it easy to feel subtle touches and work squid jigs effectively throughout the retrieve.
The Fuji guides and quality components give the rod a premium feel, and the 2-piece design makes transport and storage easy without compromising performance.
If you're serious about land-based squidding and want a rod that casts long, handles beautifully, and gives you confidence when targeting larger calamari, the Inku Egi Rod 8'3" is an excellent choice.
Highly recommended.
