I like the rod with the larger eyes they are better than the small eyes I have on my ocean legacy dream cast rods I have the dream cast rod with the smaller eyes and they forever getting tangle around the tip.also like the squid holder on the new inku rod.it would be nice to have 2 alignment dots where you join the rod .regards Barrie

This rod tip is too thin.
Second time I used it, I snap the rod at the tip when pulling a knot free from my braid.
Apart from the rod tip size it’s a good rod..
It’s light and the line guides are big.

Great Multipurpose rod

This is a perfect all-round squidding rod. I've used it from boats, kayaks, and jetties, and it performs brilliantly in every situation.

It's lightweight and sensitive, making it easy to work jigs and detect subtle bites, while still having plenty of power. The rod bends beautifully through to the butt section, giving great control over larger squid and making every fight enjoyable.

A well-balanced rod that does everything you'd want in an all-purpose egi rod. Also use it for soft plastics and whiting fishing.

Haven’t tried yet, looks great! Is there meant to have about 15mm of the joining dowel exposed or should I wet it and push together more?

The join is designed to leave a small gap (around that 15mm) so it’s easy to break down while still giving you a solid, secure one-piece feel when in use.
